Avigen
Avigen utilizes Agile Systems for its expertise in facilities management. Avigen has limited in-house resources. Agile Systems supplemented the Avigen facilities staff by adding expertise on an as-needed basis.
CV Therapeutics
CV Therapeutics wanted to implement a complete facilities preventive maintenance program. It hired Agile Systems to review and document its current staffing, process and technology. Agile Systems developed standards for collecting and managing facilities equipment and fine tuned CV’s existing CAFM software. By leveraging Agile System’s experience, CV was able to streamline operations while minimizing staffing and technology expenses.
Geron
Staff changes left Geron Corporation with gaps in its facilities management, construction and documentation programs. Faced with increased demands on its facilities, Geron’s operations management supplemented its somewhat ‘green’ staff with expert staff from Agile Systems. A combination tactical and high-level support has put Geron’s facilities and infrastructure on a solid footing.
Medarex
Medarex has taken advantage of a wide variety of the services offered by Agile Systems. Through an understanding of the company’s staffing, processes, and technology, Agile Systems has helped Medarex to improve its operations. From CAFM system implementation to facilities disaster planning, Medarex continues to benefit from Agile Systems broad expertise and services.
Network Appliance
A Fortune 1000 company, Network Appliance needed assistance to roll out its space and maintenance management programs worldwide; Agile Systems provided the solution. Agile Systems documented requirements and established standards, roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures. It then configured the company’s “state of the art” Workplace Management system to work with established procedures, etc. Network Appliance has leveraged Agile Systems’ project management, CAD/database, and training expertise to implement its space reporting and maintenance program for all major global sites.
Protein Design Labs
Agile Systems assisted Protein Design Labs to refine its facilities operations. After performing a facilities audit, Agile Systems provided PDL a comprehensive facilities management plan. More recently, Agile Systems has implemented a space-planning tool that enables PDL to document current occupancy and model future occupancy plans for its Redwood City site.
Schering-Plough
Assets are a major part of facilities management. Schering-Plough utilized Agile Systems expertise to develop a management program for its laboratory and facilities equipment. The program established asset criteria and data flows. Agile Systems developed a detailed asset inventory that included digital images and to-scale CAD drawings. Agile Systems combination of management expertise with technology has enhanced the knowledge and value of Schering-Plough’s facilities management team.
Siemens Medical Solutions
Siemens Medical Solutions sought ways to automate its facilities help desk and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. Agile Systems enhanced Siemens’ existing CAFM system by developing a web-based work request system. Today Siemens facilities staff review, assign, and close out both on-demand and preventive maintenance work orders on line. Customers can view pending work orders, and are automatically notified via email about changes in work order status.
Solexia
As Solexa was scaling back its operations, it no longer needed full-time facilities and EH&S staff. Solexa engaged Agile Systems to provide outsourced facilities management and environmental health and safety services. The service which, includes on-call operations support, has provided Solexa with a cost-effective solution to its staffing needs.
St. John's Hospital
For St. John’s, asset management is a key element for compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies. As part of a wider system implementation project, Agile Systems developed and implemented a process for managing of critical building and safety-related assets. Agile worked with the hospital staff to define asset criteria, collecting, and inputting asset data.
